Thanks you WDS and Barabas Foundation

I'd like to thank WDS Construction, represented in this photo by President Ben Westra for their kind donation via the Barnabas Foundation of $1,000 to PAVE.

John Hustis Elementary donates

Jenny Kolb, our Children's Advocate is accepting this donation from students at John Hustis Elementary. Thank you so much for supporting PAVE!

Teens Leveraging Change – The TLC Club Donates Stuffed Animals to PAVE

We received a very nice stuffed animal donation from the TLC Club, founded by Emily Lauth. The TLC Club is one of the 1500 official clubs registered with DoSomething.org, which is one of the largest organizations in the country promoting volunteerism by helping young people take action on causes they care about. Way to go Emily for founding such a cool group and making your community a better place!

Santa and Beaver Dam Community Hospital Deliver

A big THANK YOU to Beaver Dam Community Hospital (and Santa and his Elves!) for their wonderful job collecting items for our shelter. After this photo, we loaded up the sleigh (my SUV) and took the items back to shelter, where they are being put to use today.

Thank you South Beaver Dam - again!

For the second year in a row, South Beaver Dam has collected supplies and raised a monetary donation for PAVE. This year, we accepted 3 boxes of household items and $195!

I most appreciate the opportunity to assemble with all the students when I come to accept the donation so that we can talk about what PAVE does. This year I got some excellent questions from the students, primarily about how we help other kids. I am so proud, as a non-profit leader and as a parent, that our community is teaching such valuable lessons about caring for others. Thanks again South Beaver Dam!

Thanks Washington School!

A big thanks to Washington Elementary for their support of PAVE's 12 Days of Giving Campaign. The staff raised seven boxes of shelter supplies for us! Shown with me are Marica Fritz and Julie Steil, who each sponsored a shelter night as well. My family has had the privilege of knowing Marcia as my daughter's second grade teacher and Julie as facilitating student council. Through Marica and Julie and all the wonderful staff at Washington I get to see firsthand how Washington supports service learning and teaches students with activities and by example that caring for our community matters. Thank you all for your kind support!~
